Orlando Pirates have been crowned MTN8 champions for a third successive time after a 3-1 win over Stellenbosch FC in the final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. Goals from Monnapule Saleng, Tshogofatso Mabasa and Relebohile Mofokeng secured victory for the Soweto Giants. Lehlohonolo Mojela had initially opened the scoring for Stellies in the first half.
